It seems like 2023 went by the blink of an eye – more so for the showbiz industry, which saw its ups and downs. Like any of us, celebrities are also looking to take the time to appreciate and reflect on the past year, to make their own New Year’s resolutions. We talk to six of the biggest stars in the industry about what they will do this year.
The first Bangladeshi cyber-thriller movie, “Antarjal”, is slated for its exclusive online premiere on the digital entertainment platform Toffee starting tomorrow (December 21). Viewers can enjoy the film for free across various networks on Android and iOS devices and Android TV. The film will serve as a gift to audiences nationwide in celebration of Victory Day.
Siam Ahmed is shedding off his 'chocolate boy' image by taking on the role of an antagonist in Vicky Zahed's web-series "Lottery."
This time around, Mahfuz Ahmed, Farida Akhtar Babita, and Siam Ahmed (in this order) topped the list of highest taxpayers for the tax year of 2022-23, under the actors' category, as per the National Board of Revenue (NBR).
Indian filmmaker Rajib Kumar Biswas said, “We have also approached other Bangladeshi actors like Riaz Ahmed, Bappy Chowdhury, Symon Sadik, Nirab Hossain, Mamnun Hasan Emon, Abdun Noor Shajal, Siam Ahmed, Ziaul Roshan and Joy Chowdhury. They all agreed to work on this film; however, we have yet to officially sign agreements with Riaz, Roshan, and Nirab,”
Action-packed, fantastical, nail-biting: Mizanur Rahman Aryan’s Punormilone is none of those things. In spite of that, or perhaps because of that, the family drama succeeds in subverting audience expectations amidst OTT’s “Thriller Fatigue”, with a powerful reminder of the age-old phrase la familia es todo (Family is all).
