Have we been able to establish a state different from Pakistan?
Anu Muhammad
The fight for people's freedom in Bangladesh neither began nor ended in 1971. It has been going on for many years; 1971 was a major phase of it. Fifty-two years later, can we say we have achieved that goal? Anu Muhammad, professor of the economics department at Jahangirnagar University, raises this question while speaking to The Daily Star Opinion.
