Avik Anwar triumphs in Malaysia Championship Series
Avik Anwar, the Bangladeshi racing sensation, clinched first place in Race-2 of Round-3 in the Malaysia Championship Series at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday. This victory marks a significant milestone in Anwar's career, elevating him to third place overall in the championship standings.
Anwar, who had previously secured a podium finish in Round-1, started the race from grid 2. He navigated the 5,543-meter track in 20 laps, completing the race in 1 hour and 1 minute. His best lap time was an impressive 2.28 minutes, adding this win as his ninth podium finish in the Malaysia Championship Series.
The race was far from a walk in the park, with conditions that tested the mettle of even the most seasoned racers. The temperature in Malaysia soared above 45 degrees Celsius, and according to Anwar, the track temperature reached a scorching 61 degrees.
