5,000 self-employed women run Naogaon’s ‘Mustichal’
It is a different kind of bank, where rice is kept instead of money.
In collaboration with local and international NGOs, about 5,000 women from 90 villages in Sapahar and Niamatpur upazilas of Naogaon have been operating this diverse bank since 2015.
This project is locally known as "Mustichal".
